Our Hassle-Free Return Policy

RETURNS

Our Return Policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Gift Cards and Custom Orders CANNOT BE RETURNED. No exceptions. 

To complete your return, we require send us an email cs@thevinylguru.com or text us or call us at (202) 705-5765. The most effective and quickest way to get answers is by email, so try that first.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery or any item that is not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be fully refunded. A 20% restocking/recovery fee will be deducted from the purchase price.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return was caused by a production error in which case your refund will include the original shipping cost you paid for your order.

RECEIVED DAMAGE AND WANT A REPLACEMENT

Send us an email to cs@thevinylguru.com or text us at (202) 705-5765 with details about the damage. To expedite your replacement, include your First and Last Name, your Order Number and your E-mail Address. Also, upload or attach the following photos:

  • A photo of the damage product
  • A photo of the damage package
  • A clear photo of the Shipping Label, showing your address and tracking number.
  • A photo of the entire package, including a clear view of the shipping label.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. Once approved, we will ship your replacement to the same address given in your original order, free of charge.

  • A clear photo of the Shipping Label, showing your address and tracking number.
  • A photo of the entire package, including a clear view of the shipping label.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Once approved, we will issue your refund for the purchase price. The refund will be issued to the same payment method you used in your original order. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Please, make sure to let us know you want to have a refund instead of an exchange.

NOTE: WE WILL REFUND CUSTOM ORDERS IF THE ITEM IS DEFECTIVE OR IF THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY A PRODUCTION ERROR.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

If you return your order and requested a refund and haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at cs@thevinylguru.com.

SALE ITEMS (IF APPLICABLE)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. If received damage or defective, proceed with the steps under the “Received Damage and Wants a Replacement” section of this Return Policy.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
